Labor Endorsed Candidates Win Primary

admin June 27, 2012 0

Statement by NYS AFL-CIO President Mario Cilento on Primary Results

“Working New Yorkers are the winners tonight with the Congressional Primary victories of the labor movement’s endorsed candidates – Charlie Rangel, Nydia Velazquez, and Sean Patrick Maloney. Voters ensured that the strongest candidates in terms of job creation and rebuilding the middle class will be on the ballot in November. The New York State AFL-CIO is proud that union members got out to the polls and made sure their voice was heard.”
