The fight to Fix Tier 6 is about fairness, equity, and a better retirement for the hard-working public servants who keep our communities running. By joining together and raising our voices together, we can ensure that all workers are treated fairly in the public pension system.

Union members from across New York State are gathering for a massive rally in Albany to Fix Tier 6. Registration is required for all attendees. Limited free bus transportation is available.

Transportation

IF YOU ARE TAKING A BUS:

We have arranged for buses across the state. If you indicated you were interested in taking a bus, you should have received your bus pickup and drop-off locations. Each bus has been assigned a bus captain who will take attendance and provide on-site support during your departure and arrival.

Each bus will be numbered. To make for an orderly exit after the rally, bus boarding will be announced by bus number. Please do not attempt to board your bus until your bus number is announced.

IF YOU ARE DRIVING:

First and foremost, please plan ahead, carpool with your colleagues and arrive early! With 15,000 people and dozens of buses converging on the MVP Arena, expect traffic to be tight.

The MVP Arena has a dedicated parking garage, which will be open and have free parking for all ticketed attendees. However, we expect the garage to reach capacity and spots are not guaranteed.

There are additional parking garages and street parking options in downtown Albany as well.

Visit Park Albany or Downtown Albany for more information on additional parking options in the area.
