NYC Labor Phonebanks: Every Tuesday & Thursday!
Union members across New York are getting organized for the November 3 General Election, and NYC labor is joining the fight. Every Tuesday and Thursday through Election Day, NYC union members can join virtual member-to-member phone banks supporting labor-endorsed candidates in statewide and key races across New York. We’ll be calling fellow union members to talk about what’s at stake in this election, the candidates endorsed by our union movement, and making sure working people turn out to vote. Never phone banked before? No problem. A quick training will be provided at the beginning of each Zoom before calls begin. All you need is your cell phone plus a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet. Pick a Tuesday or Thursday, sign up for a shift, and help get out the #UnionStrong vote. These phone banks are hosted by the New York State AFL-CIO as part of labor’s statewide member-to-member GOTV program.
