After being denied help for years, 90,000 9/11 Responders and Survivors from around the country who went to the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the Shanksville crash site are now getting medical monitoring, treatment and compensation for their injuries. They are in every State and in 434 out of 435 Congressional Districts. On February 25, 2019 bipartisan legislation “Never Forget the Heroes: Permanent Authorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund Act was introduced. The Victim Compensation Fund is a priority of the New York State AFL-CIO.
