Statement of New York State AFL-CIO President Mario Cilento on Suspension of Offshore Wind Projects

Halting offshore wind development jeopardizes thousands of family-sustaining union jobs and weakens our ability to supply the electricity New Yorkers need. Further, there is no legitimate basis for this action. We urge President Trump to immediately rescind the stop-work order and allow these projects to proceed.
