NYS AFL-CIO Annual COPE Day at the Races

You are cordially invited to join your union family for our Day at the Races, July 22nd from 11am - 6pm to benefit the New York State AFL-CIO Committee on Political Education (COPE). We’re excited to announce that this year, the event will be held at The Rail at The 1863 Club - Saratoga Race Course’s facility.

The COPE Department provides year-round programs of political education, Get-Out-The-Vote campaigns, and non-partisan registration for union members across the state.

NEW UPDATE from NYRA 6/16/21: Large scale events like horse racing will be included in the governor’s recent announcement on the lifting of restrictions – this means no proof of vaccination to enter. However, NYSRA asks that all unvaccinated guests wear a mask when not actively eating or drinking at their table. This applies to "The Rail at 1863 Club" events such as ours.

Please call the NYS AFL-CIO COPE Department with any questions at (518) 436-8516 ext. 211.
