Tier 6 Pension Reform

Legislation that restores parity for Tier 5 and 6 public employees with Tier 4:
- Reduce and standardize employee contributions.
- Restore ability to retire at age 55 with 30 years of service.
- Eliminate caps on overtime and other pay in the calculation of pension benefits.
- Eliminate the social security offset for all titles still subject to it.
- Lower penalties on pension benefits for retiring prior to normal age.
- Restore incentives that reward longevity.
